JEE Main Exam Pattern 2020 - National Testing Agency has announced new changes in the JEE Main 2020 exam pattern in a new notification dated September 3. The detailed exam pattern of JEE Main with number of questions and type of questions have been announced by NTA in the official information brochure. JEE Main 2020 comprises of 2 papers; Paper 1 for engineering aspirants and Paper 2 for students seeking admissions in architecture and planning courses. According to the JEE Main 2020 exam pattern, Paper 1 will comprise of multiple choice questions and numerical questions whereas Paper 2 is now separate for B.Arch and B.Plan aspirants. JEE main exam pattern for B.Arch will comprise of objective questions for both Maths and Aptitude, numerical questions for Maths and questions for the drawing section. As per the JEE Main exam pattern 2020 for B.Plan, questions will be asked from Maths and aptitude and there will be an extra section on Planning with multiple choice questions on the same. Paper 1 of JEE Main exam will have 3 subjects - Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Each section will be given equal weightage with 20 MCQs and 5 numerical questions and total marks for JEE Main 2020 Paper 1 will be 300. NTA has released the official JEE Main Mock Test 2020 to help candidates practice the test in online mode to get a look and feel of the real JEE Main online computer based test. The mock test of JEE Main 2020 is also being conducted at various schools/engineering colleges identified by NTA as Test Practise Centres (TPC). NTA will open TPCs to allow candidates practice JEE Main 2020 mock tests. To attempt mock tests at Test Practise Centres, candidates will have to register through the official website of NTA. Candidates will be able to attempt the JEE Main mock tests 2020 on weekends within the given time frame specified by the authorities.
NTA has released the official syllabus for JEE Main aspirants. Students appearing to IIT JEE Main 2020 must go through the detailed syllabus to get knowledge of subjects and topics that will form the question paper of the examination. With the help of the JEE Main syllabus 2020 candidates will be able to strategize their preparations and cover the topics that are important and will carry more weightage in the exam.
